Program Registration Policy and Terms

Registration Requirements
A 2009 USATF membership number is required for all registrations for the 2009 season.

Registration
Enrollment is limited and subject to availability.

Payment
The Northstar United Youth Club requires full payment at the time of registration. Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All registrations are online.

Registration Deadlines

Early Bird Registration Deadline............... April 17, 2009 

In-Season Registration Deadline.............. June 8, 2009


Registrations received after June 8, 2009 are subject to a $20.00 late fee per athlete. Registrations will be accepted only if space is available.

 

Registration Fees

    Early Bird Registration      $ 150.00     $100.00 volunteer deposit

    In-Season Registration      $ 200.00     $ 50.00 volunteer deposit


Volunteer Service Hours
Each family is asked to commit 8-10 hours of service time on meet-related duties. In-Season Registrants will have missed a significant portion of the volunteer opportunities and this is reflected in the increased registration fee. Families registering after April 5, 2009 will be required to provide 4-5 hours.

Families with unfulfilled volunteer hours at the end of the season (July 31, 2009) will be automatically charged the full volunteer deposit.

A list of volunteer dates and times will be posted on the website and available for sign-up.

Family Discount
Families enrolling more than one athlete this season are entitled to a $20.00 discount on the 2nd registrant and a $40.00 discount on the 3rd registrant. This discount applies only if all registrations are done on the same online registration form.

Program fees are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation and Refund Policy and Terms
For cancellations made by May 7, 2009, the program fee will be refunded less a $30.00 cancellation fee per athlete. No refunds are provided for cancellations made after May 7, 2009.

Refunds are credited to original payment account or forwarded by check.

Should the Northstar United Youth Club cancel a program day due to inclement weather, programs may be rescheduled on occasion. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations.

Makeup Lessons Policy and Terms
The Northstar United Youth Club cannot offer makeup training sessions. Our goal in organizing program training workouts is to create a positive learning environment with continuity in coach/athlete relationships. Absences and makeup sessions present a challenge for coaches and athletes in meeting that goal.

Uniforms
Each athlete will be provided with a Northstar United Youth Club uniform top (please read Uniform Agreement). Please return the uniform top, laundered and in a Ziploc bag, by August 24, 2009. Any families with uniforms not returned by August 24, 2009 will be subject to a $25.00 uniform replacement fee.


Safety
Our primary concern will always be the safety and well-being of your athlete. For this reason, all athletes need to be fully registered with Northstar United Youth Club and active members of USATF, prior to practice with the team.
New: Registered athletes will be required to sign in and out of each practice.
